Day 1 Ho CHi Minh City
Arrive and meet and assist by our tour manager and transfer toyour hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City, rest of the day is at your own leisure, we offer a free foot massage in order to make you feel relaxed and get you ready for teh rest of the trip.
If you arrive early in Ho Chi Minh city, then we take you to the guided tour visiting key attractions on a sightseeing tour in Saigon. Day 2 My Tho to Cai Be (B-L-D)
Depart from Saigon and travel by car to south to the town of My Tho to embark the cruise ship. We will be served refreshing drinks and light lunch as the cruise steadily glides along the Mekong. In Cai Be, the Ship drops anchor midstream for an overnight stay
Day 3 Cai Be, Sa Dec, Tan Chau (B-L-D)
The day-tour starts with a visit to Cai Be’s bustling and colorful floating market on a traditional sampan (a flat bottomed traditional Vietnamese wooden boat). Discover breathtaking landscapes along the Mekong River and quaff the rustic life on the southern Vietnam. The cruise will halt intermittently to allow us to observe how rice paste, rice paper, rice cookies, rice pop, rice wine and coconut candies are made, enjoy local life along the canals on the way back to the Cruise for lunch.
In the afternoon, continue cruising to Sa Dec. Upon arrival, we embark a traditional sampan to tour Binh Thanh Island to visit an untouchable village. Here, every villager is involved in the process of making rattan mat and this give us the chance to interact with the old local people. We then board the Ship for a tranquil evening cruise towards Tan Chau for an overnight stay on board
Day 4 Phnom Penh, Cambodia (B-L-D)
Start the day with a breakfast ob board the luxury cruise and get ready for a short excursion in Tan Chau, a pleasant town near the Cambodian border with sizable Chinese, Kinh and Khmer community. upon arrival we check in to visit evergreen islands where you will be thrilled to learn the life of the locals whom living on high stilts houses.
Latter, we continue to visit a fish farm located in the Tan Chau canal – this farm consists of floating houses and the villagers make their living by cultivating fish. You continue by boat to Tan Chau pier, disembark here and stroll around this colorful local market with lots of regional products. Return to the cruise for an overnight stay near Phnom Penh.
Day 5 Sightseeing Phnom Penh (B-L-D)
City tour in Phnom Penh, the oriental capital city of Cambodia, sightseeing starts with a visit to Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda, witness Khmer craft, visit genocide museum and killing field, latter enjoy Cambodian culture with many activities on deck
After, take a joyful rickshaw ride back to the cruise ship, free time on your own before getting ready for sunset cocktail party served on sundeck. Other activities include a Apsara dance performance. Dinner and BBQ is served on sundeck. Overnight in Phnom Penh
Day 6 Angkor Ban, Kampong Cham (B-L-D)
Depart from Phnom Penh with a stop at the little known Silk island community. We will then return to the Ship and pass by the Mekong’s tranquil villages, exhilarating river life and sun-hardened fishermen on their long tail boats.
After, enjoy the tour in Angkor Ban Village the houses here are truly rustic, made by locals, travelers can take part in the daily activities of the villagers to experience village life first hand. Then, we will back to the cruise to continue the journey towards Kampong Cham where the cruise ship will dock.
Day 7 Wat Hanchey (B-L-D)
Breakfast on board the cruise before heading on a visit to the pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey dating back the early 8th century. Travelers either take a motorbike ride or climb 303 steps to the reach the temple that is located at the top of a hill overlooking the river.
After visit we will go back to the cruise to witness a blessing ceremony performed by orange-clad local monks. latter server lunch on board. We will then cruise towards Kampong Cham to visit Wat Nokor. Overnight in Kampong Cham
Day 8 Kampong Chhnang (B-L-D)
This morning, the cruise will sailing toward the Kampong Chhnang on the Tonle Sap River, where everything is on stilts balanced on water rich soil– it’s an awesome sight whilst practicing Tai Chi on the deck.
After, we take a short drive to see the Khmer-styled pottery at the Aundaung Russey village . Then, it is back to the river for an adventurous motorboat excursion to the wetlands, floating houses and fish farms in the region. Latter, back to the cruise for lunch while cruising through the Tonle River. Some activities are prepared for the evening. Overnight stay on board the luxury cruise at the middle of Tonle Lake
Day 9 Siem Reap (B)
Start the day while enjoying the quiet tranquility on the way to Siem Reap, the city of majestic Angkor Wat comples, the largest religious structure in the world. Check out from the cruise, our Khmer tour guide will escort you to your spa resort in Siem Reap to check in, rest of the day is at your own leisure to get ready for the Angkor Wat exploration the next day
Day 10 Angkor Wat (B)
Temple-hop with your local Khmer tour guide and make the most of your visit to the world-famous Angkor Wat temples. The temples, dating back as far as the 9th century, were believed to represent the cosmic world and were set in perfect balance, symmetry and composition. The intricately carved bas-reliefs and architectural designs are mind-blowing and there are spectacular photo opportunities at any time of day.
Watching a sunrise or sunset at Angkor Wat is a must. The ruins are expanded over an area of some 160 square KM, but the main cluster of temples is close to Siem Reap, so there will be plenty of time to fully appreciate the great archaeological sites of Angkor Wat, the Bayon and the jungle-covered Ta Prohm. Day 11 Departure (B)
Our journey of discover has finally come to an end, our driver will transfer you to the airport for the departure flight well in a head of time.
