Day 1 Hanoi
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. The city is energized in equal parts from its cultural traditions and modern movements. From the airport you are met by your tour manager and transfer and taken to your hotel. The wonder of the city is immediately apparent as the gregarious culture of the people is set within the sleepy town surrounded by a big city.
Day 2 Hanoi cultural sightseeing (B-L)
After breakfast you will set out along Hanoi’s streets to see how the city has collected its varied pasts and displays them proudly. First, head out to visit Temple of Literature that is stands as an example of traditional Vietnamese architecture. After we take a tour to visit Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh as well as some of the most see places around the Ba Dinh Square. An electric ride car around the famous west lake will be a bonus to your day tour in Hanoi, in the late afternoon you will enjoy a cultural performance show at Hanoi’s water puppetry show. Day 3 Drive overland to Sapa (B)
After breakfast, you will be picked up to travel to Sapa via private transfer. En route you will find the stunning relationship between the hill tribes and nature, where the landscape gives you the iconic image of paddy fields terracing the steep slopes.
Arrive and check in at your luxury lodge, short rest, after, visit Sapa Museum, home to a great display of the history and ethnology of the area. Latter in the afternoon you will have free time to explore Sapa on your own.
Day 4 Visit ethnic minorities in Sapa (B-L)
Today you will venture out of the city to experience the culture-rich ethnic minorities living in the hills, arrive in Ta Phin Village you will find the Red Dao people hard at work on their daily routines.
Whether you stay in Ta Phin Village or continue to the Black H’mong Village along the trail, the people are filled with smiles and curiosity, wishing to show you their way of life outside of the cities where the true splendor of nature shines. Overnight stay in Sapa
Day 5 Travel overland back to Hanoi (B)
Drive back to Hanoi city passing through the small countrysides and villages. Arrive in Hanoi in late afternoon, check in at your luxury lodge for an overnight stay
Day 6 Halong Bay and the Luxury Stay on board the cruise (B-L-D)
Travel by private car (approximately 4 hours) to the awesome World Heritage site of Halong Bay. This secluded Bay has something like 2,000 little limestone rising up across the scenic Bay. And the water is one pretty green scene. It’s one of Vietnam’s most see places. Arrive and check in the board of the luxury cruise to sail the Bay. You’ll explore some of the awesome caves in the area as well as time for swimming at Titop beach.
Day 7 +8 Saigon stay and sightseeing (B-L)
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the Tai chi practice on board the cruise, after breakfast, you have time for Kayaking around the turquoise waters of the Bay. Back to the cruise to server the delicious seafood lunch while sailing back to the wharf. Your private transfer awaits to takes you back to Hanoi for a flight to Ho Chi Minh city, arrive later in the evening and check in at your hotel in district one in Ho Chi Minh City
Next, your Saigon tour guide will pick you up for a private sightseeing tour in Ho Chi Minh city, the highlight of the day includes visiting Saigon’s Notre Dame cathedral and the adjoining central post office, War remnant museum as well as reunification palace, latter you’ll have time to visit Saigon’s bustling Benh Thanh market
Day 9 Mekong day trip (B-L)
Today you’ll travel south by private car for a day trip to explore the Mekong Delta. Disembark at Ben Tre and visit a local cottage industry and sample the candy that the region is famous for. You’ll have the opportunity to take a tuk-tuk around this remote village and make a stop to sample tropical fruit, see a honey farm, and learn more about rural life. For lunch, go to a restaurant in the heart of the delta and try regional specialties such as the famous elephant-ear fish that is kinda cultural food as well. After lunch, board sampans (small rowing boats) and paddle along the canals under the shade of lush water coconut trees. Get back on the main boat and cruise though more major waterways on your way to the town of My Tho. After a scenic cruise, we transfer back to Saigon to take a evening flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia
Day 10 +11 Angkor Wat temple discovery (B)
Your Cultural tour of Vietnam and Cambodia continue and today: Angkor Wat, which means City Temple, was constructed in the 12th century and is dedicated to a Hindu deity. The entire complex was built on a hill imitating the legend of Mount Meru, which can also be seen in representation of the central tower. The elegance of the architecture and detail of the reliefs combine to make the wealth of the temple equal in both its size and construction. Incense wafts through the central gallery where monks have set up a station to pray, giving a spice to the air and a comfort to the drifting light.
Next, A visit to famous Ta Prohm that is filled with a sense of discovery, as if you have stumbled upon the remains of a lost city that has been forgotten for centuries. Within the shadows of the morning you can watch the light begin to hit the covered stones and towers wrapped in roots that have tangled over and around the powerful walls. When the daylight finally sweeps across the sky you can find the hidden reliefs of the temple running beneath the draping foliage. As the day continues you will witness the exceptional architecture found within the intricacies of each temple, each different from the next, yet collectively unified.
Day 12 Tonle Sap River (B)
This morning we transfer to visit Tonle Lake, the largest fresh water lake in South-east of Asia. See the culture while enjoying the slow long tail boat ride through the floating villages. Back to Siem Reap and tonight enjoy the farewell dinner with Apsara dance show
Day 13 Siem Reap Departure (B)
End of the trip, you’ll be transferred to the airport well in a head of time.
